Roy D’Souza has over 25 years of experience in intellectual property (IP) and financial valuation matters, including valuations of IP and tangible assets for mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning such as IP monetization and financing, financial reporting and tax matters, and litigation support. He also performs business appraisals and equity ownership interest valuations and has served as a testifying expert in business, equity, and IP valuation matters. Roy has frequently presented at domestic and international conferences on valuation topics. He also specializes in the media and entertainment sector, with a focus in the music industry.
Prior to joining Loop Capital, Roy worked at KPMG, Ocean Tomo, and AccuVal Associates.
Roy received his B.S. in Finance from DePaul University. He is actively involved in several organizations, serving as Board President of the Chicago West Community Music Center and as a board member for Festival University.
