His expertise spans strategic tax planning, compliance, M&A due diligence, and risk management. He frequently guides clients through complex U.S. and international tax frameworks, helping optimize investment structures and resolve high‑stakes tax controversies.

Prior to affiliating with Loop, Bud was a Tax Partner with KPMG and Global Head of Investment Product Tax at Morgan Stanley.

Bud holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University and is a licensed CPA in Illinois.
